Matthew 11:25-30

At that time Jesus answered and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

We are praying for other believers to fellowship with in the area.  Modern religion presents Jesus as a poor beggar trying to save as many as He possibly can.  Nothing is further from the truth.  God does not love everyone and Christ did not die for everyone.  God cannot fail and we worship the One who works all things after the counsel of His own will.  We have visited many of the "churches" in the Rhea County and have not found one or heard of one that believes the Bible alone.  If, as you read this, you agree or have questions please contact me at the phone numbers or e-mail above.

We are grateful for the faithfulness of our Triune God in our lives.  He has drawn us closer than ever to Him and His fellowship is sweeter than any on earth.  The truth of the Sovereignty of the Trinity in our salvation is the most precious truth of the Bible.  God the Father chose us individually in eternity, according to His good pleasure and mercy.  The Son of God as the second Adam fulfilled the law for us and died in our stead on the cross.  He was buried.  Three days later He rose from the grave and fifty days later ascended to heaven where He is faithfully interceding on our behalf.  The gracious Holy Spirit is enabling us to preach Christ crucified and sovereign in regeneration and sanctification! 

2 Corinthians 4:7

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. "

John 3:20-21

"For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."
